Today we start living in a new year. Most of us had very exciting moments yesterday night and some of us thought we want to change some things in our lives. There are the usual New Year’s Resolutions that on average stay with us for a couple weeks. Until we forget them. Therefore, before we all go back to our lives I would like to challenge you to ask yourself these four questions. Please, answer them with the first thoughts that come to your mind. Do not over think. A couple minutes per question should be enough.
1. What were your Top 3 achievements of 2014? What are you proud of? What happened that made you really happy? Do not forget; just a couple minutes of thought.
2. What could have been better? No year is without a little bit of frustration or bad news, and none of us is living to our 100% potential all the time.
3. What have you learned? The day you stop learn is the day before you stop live. Thus, what were your main lessons 2014 have taught you?
4. And finally, what will have to happen to make 2015 a wonderful fantastically awesome year? Instead of thinking on resolutions or goals, why don’t we think on success metrics? Just three things. The Top 3 things that will make 2015 worth remember.
Beside thinking and answering these four questions, I highly recommend you to write down the answers. They will be useful in the future. For instance, one year from today, you may want to compare the answer of question 4 to the Top 3 achievements of 2015.
Remember, 2015 will be a fantastic year. You may not know why, but it will be!
